The scarcity of the satellite bandwidth this year makes broadcast business difficult, especially for those start-up ones.
Pakistan alone, presents lots of bandwidth requirements, especially this time that Paksat is running full of capacity. With its next satellite launch that would take some more time, it means that at the moment, it doesn't have much options.
So, many has gone to other satellite service providers, especially Thaicom to ask for the same bandwidth capacity requirements. But, since it is also struggling for capacity needs within its base country, then it means that clients have not much bargaining power to negotiate with Thaicom or any other satellite service provider.
